Qbie was bred and owned by Claudia Orlandi and Sue Frischmann.  He won his first major under breeder/judge Diane Malenfant.  

Qbie is a well balanced Basset Hound with exceptional breed type, substantial bone and beautiful feet.  He's extremely correct coming and going.  His deliberate, excellent side gait shows great reach and drive, capable of going all day.

Qbie is shown left at 18 months of age, and on the right at two years of age. 

Qbie was imported to Australia by Chris Lawrence, Beauchasseur Bassets.  We are pleased that Qbie is with Chris in his new home. 

Qbie has made many new friends in Australia.  He is pictured left with his new mother, Chris Lawrence and on the right moving with her around the ring in Australia.

Qbie is the son of  CH Topsfield Fresca, BOW at the 2002 BHCA National Specialty ,  and is by one of our best producers, CH Topsfield Orion, ROM.  He's a half brother to CH Topsfield Beethoven, Number One Basset Hound, all systems in 2005 and 2006 and  winner of 107 Hound groups on his way to the 2006 Dogs in Review Top Hound Group Award.

 Qbie's grandfather, CH Topsfield Bumper Cars, CD, ROM, who was the Number One All Breed Hound in 2001 and Number One Basset Hound in 2000, 2001 and 2002.

Pictured below is "Pete" a son of Qbie bred by Margaret Webber, in Australia.  He has already accomplished two Best Baby Puppy In Show wins.  He is from the first litter sired by Qbie in Australia.  
"Pete"  was whelped July 8, 2010.
