 Following his retirement from the conformation ring Bumpers obtained his Companion Dog Title with the guidance of Topsfield's Assistant Kennel Manager and his friend, Linda Panella.

Bumpers son, CH Topsfield-Sanchu Sports Car, ROM, has followed his father as a two-time Pedigree Award Winner and the Number One Basset Hound All Systems for 2003 and 2004.  Sporty is a two time breed winner at Westminster, and was Winners Dog and Award of Merit Winner at the 2002 BHCA National Specialty. 

 Bumpers is pictured above right with his son, CH Sanchu-Topsfield Go-Cars.  Go-Cars was Winners Dog and Best of Winners at Lincolnland BHC to his father's Best of Breed.  Go-Cars went on to Winners Dog at the 2000 BHCA National Specialty.
